Say Yes to Lazy Saturdays

This week has been a long one for me. From a few stressful days at work to battling a nasty cold, I couldn’t have been more excited for the weekend to be here. There’s no better way to spend my Saturday than dedicating the day to unwind.

Binge Watching New Shows

If you’ve had a chance to check out my About Me page, then you know just how much I love a good crime drama. Saturday is the perfect day to curl up on the couch with a few snacks and binge watch a new show. Currently, I’m watching The Act on Hulu, based off of the HBO documentary Mommy Dead and Dearest.

Reading & Writing

Saturday is a day where my mind is clear, the house is quiet and my creative juices are flowing. I’ve always found that it serves as a great day to relax, curl up with a good book or check out new blog posts and sharpen my writing skills.

Video Games

While I’m certainly no gamer, I do enjoy a few hours glued to the television with my PS4, digging into a new game or re-playing an old one . It’s a fun way to disconnect and relieve stress.

Today I started my 30 day yoga challenge and I’ve honestly never felt so at peace before. There’s nothing like reconnecting with your mind and body after a long week.

So cheers to lazy Saturdays and putting time aside to relax and unwind. What are some ways you like to spend your weekend?
